ABSTRACT
The article profiles gospel singer Kirk Franklin, who is celebrating Christmas with his family after being healed from his pornography addiction. Franklin describes his sorrows on several songs on his new CD, "Hero." Although he has encountered obstacles, Franklin has continued to grow spiritually, personally and professionally. In addition to his music career, Franklin has become a youth minister at a church in Inglewood, California. Franklin plans to begin touring with "Hero" in the spring of 2006.
