ABSTRACT
The article features the efforts of Cree Hayuga, a fifth grader from Santa Fe, New Mexico, to train dogs. It is reported that she spends several hours each Wednesday afternoon to train dogs. She also volunteers at Assistance Dogs of the West program because of her love for animals. The training being received by dogs in the program are described.
