ABSTRACT
The article reports on the installation of the America's Missing: Broadcast Emergency Response (AMBER) alert distribution system through the point-of-sale systems of Valero Energy Corp. The system can quickly disseminate critical information about missing children and their suspected abductors. More than 200 missing children have been saved since the program was launched in 1996 according to the U.S. Department of Justice. Some of its features include the location of the abduction and the images of the abductee.
