ABSTRACT
The article presents information on a four-page newsletter, The Paraplegia News, which will mark its sixtieth anniversary on April 14, 2006. The newsletter was published by spinal-cord injury (SCI) patients in the Bronx, New York, VA Hospital in July 1946. They expected that the newsletter would serve as a source for the exchange of ideas among SCI patients.
