ABSTRACT
The article presents news briefs related to veterans in around the world. It is reported that the Salute to Veterans Concert, a fundraiser for hurricane victims, was held on October 29, 2005. Moreover, in October 2005, the Oregon Paralyzed Veterans of America gave $3,200 worth of shower chairs to the Portland VA Medical Center. An exhibition titled Recharge International 2005, was held October 12-15, 2005 in Dusseldorf, Germany. The exhibitors from 31 countries presented innovative, high-quality assistive products and services.
