ABSTRACT
The article presents news briefs related to veterans in the United States. It is reported that the Disabled Businesspersons Association has received the Veterans Business Resource Center (VBRC) contract from the National Veterans Business Development Corporation. VBRC presents business information, assistance, and networking opportunities for veterans. The recipients of the Secretary of Labor's New Freedom Initiative (NFI) Award for outstanding support of employment for people with disabilities was recently announced by Elaine L. Chao.
