ABSTRACT
This article presents information on the application of thin film photodetectors for bioanalytical platforms. The challenges for the engineering of a well-adapted photodetectors and imagers includes the optical detection of luminescence, fluorescence, reflexion and absorption signals in various kinds of bioanalytical platforms. The discovery of advanced materials offers the possibility of constructing a superior and versatile photodetectors.
