This article takes a look several state-of-the art nuclear power reactors being developed as of November 2005. Framatome is building its first European Pressurized Water Reactor in Finland which features innovations designed to prevent core meltdown. Meanwhile, GE Energy is also developing its Economic Simplified Boiling Water Reactor.
