Creating a Mathematical Museum on Your Desk

The article presents the author's experience while the creation of physical models on the shelves of his office. The more general term for these physical models "solid free form fabrication" conveys the idea that these objects need to be neither rapid nor prototypes. Solid freeform fabrication technology has applications in the creation of all types of educational 3D objects, like topological, algebraic, molecular, crystal, anatomical, or historical models. The author illustrates only geometric models in the course of the article.
