ABSTRACT
This article reports that the Greater Syracuse Chamber of Commerce held a press conference on September 26, 2005 to announce its endorsement of Joanie Mahoney in the upcoming election for mayor of the City of Syracuse, New York. The endorsement is the culmination of a candidate evaluation and interview process undertaken by Syracuse Tomorrow, the Chamber's political-action committee. Syracuse Tomorrow's mission is to support pro-business, pro-jobs candidates and public policy.
