The article discusses the author's friendship with professor and analytical chemist Wilhelm Fresenius. They spent time and had conversations with Fresenius at the Euroanalysis Conference in 1984 in Cracow, Poland. Fresenius was invited as presenter at a symposium in Warsaw University.
