ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the football team Oakland Raiders. Compared with QB Kerry Collins, new starter Marques Tuiasosopo is more mobile, younger and capable of making more plays. Andrew Walter is waiting in the wings. Walter seems a better fit in Oakland's offense because he is more of a dropback passer with a strong arm. SS Janod Cooper has seized upon his opportunity as a replacement for Derrick Gibson by developing into a solid tackier and dependable force against the run and pass. The Raiders are trying to get WR Randy Moss more involved with the hope that doing so will kick-start their offense.
