The article reports on the decision of the National Sporting Goods Association to honor individuals during its Management Conference and Team Dealer Summit in May 2006. The association is also celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Sporting Goods Industry Hall of Fame. The six new Hall of Famers are: Alan Cohen, the late Dave Koch, Don Pfau, Joachim Schroeder, Jim Soffe, and Ed Stack. They will be honored in a ceremony on May 23, at The Westin La Cantera Resort in San Antonio.
