ABSTRACT
The article informs that the new Mississauga, Ontario, location for Booth Centennial Healthcare Services is 250,000 sq. ft. and represents the largest single-site healthcare laundry in North America. It can handle 320,000 pieces of linen per day. The grand opening occurred on September 28, 2005, when no Fabricare Canada representative was available to cover the story. The new $30,000,000 plant is owned by the 23 hospitals and long-term facilities, for which it operates as a not-for- profit venture.
