Prestowitz discussed globalization in his book "Three Billion New Capitalists: The Great Shift of Wealth and Power to the East." R. Meredith reported the trend in offshore industries in the March 2005 issue of "Far Eastern Economic Review." C. K. Prahalad and V. Ramaswamy explored the types of business in the book "The Future of Competition: Co-Creating Unique Value With Customers."
