ABSTRACT
The article provides an overview of social-related reports previously published in other journals. In "Urban Violence and Insecurity," published in the October 2004 issue of "Environment and Urbanisation," C. O. Moser studied violence and insecurity in urban areas. An article by A. V. Papachristos in the March/April 2005 issue of "Foreign Policy" focused on the globalization of gangs. "A Fair Globalization: Creating Opportunities for All" analyzed the benefits from the development of a World Commission on the Social Dimensions of Globalization.
