ABSTRACT
The article describes the test and calculation procedures used in measuring commercial boiler system performance in the Standard 155P of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers. It presents the purpose of the standard. Factors contributing to the seasonal efficiency of a boiler system are explored. It discusses the energy input rate associated with inactive boilers.
