ABSTRACT
This article focuses on the offenses and defenses of various college basketball teams in the U.S. Basketball player Adam Morrison has had his entire life to practice making baskets the way he did at the Maui Invitational tournament. With practice time short before the season begins, offenses tend to be ahead of defenses. In winning the Guardians Classic, the Texas basketball team delivered a performance that was only an approximation of what the Longhorns team figures to become. Recently, the Zags team has been more successful against elite competition in early-season games than in the National Collegiate Athletic Association Basketball Tournament. Their offense generally is filled with shooters.
