ABSTRACT
The article focuses on racer Tony Stewart who won the 2005 Chase for the NASCAR Nextel Cup. He is a little wiser and a lot more relaxed than when he won the Winston Cup in 2002. Winner of USAC's Triple Crown in 1995 and the Indy Racing League title in 1997, Stewart has joined an elite fraternity of 14 drivers who have multiple championships in the Cup Series. Stewart, 34, never has finished worse than seventh in Cup points since winning rookie honors in 1999. His immense talent kept the nucleus of his team together for seven seasons.
