ABSTRACT
The article comments on several baseball players including Pete Rose Carlos Delgado and Joe Montana. It is argued that before Rose gets into the Hall of Fame, he will finish his doctoral thesis on the nuances separating intelligent design from creationism. Carlos Delgado has his principles. He thinks the U.S. war in Iraq is wrong. He also believes the wonderful song, "God Bless America," has been appropriated as justification for that unjustifiable war. If on the field when the song began, he stayed there; if already in the dugout, he stayed seated or went into the clubhouse.
