The article focuses on the American football team St. Louis Rams and some of its key players. OLB Dexter Coakley was a disappointment before he suffered season-ending ankle and leg injuries in the loss to Washington. Brandon Chillar had been replacing Coakley in the nickel packages and now will replace him as the starter. The Rams have thrown more deep balls and fewer passes over the middle since coach Mike Martz was sidelined and coordinator Steve Fairchild began calling plays. But the Rams still are moving the ball, despite the injuries.
