Cummings, Roy
December 2005
Sporting News;12/16/2005, Vol. 229 Issue 50, p37
The article focuses on the American football team Tampa Bay Buccaneers and some of its key players. TE Anthony Becht has been less than adequate as a pass protector and run blocker and has dropped too many passes. A sore knee might be contributing to his struggles, but the team needs him to step up as one of the few veterans on offense. FS Dexter Jackson's return from a hamstring injury couldn't come at a better time for the team or for him. While Jackson was out, the team learned Will Allen is a capable starter and Kalvin Pearson is a competent backup.
