ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the American football team Detroit Lions and some of its key players. Despite another loss, there is some optimism because of the schemes implemented by new offensive coordinator Greg Olson. The running game has benefited from a simpler blocking strategy, and instead of using many different running plays in a game, Olson has whittled the plan down to about six that the Lions can focus on all week. MLB Earl Holmes started the season with a bang, but his production has dropped off.
