ABSTRACT
The article reports on the plan of TiVo Inc. to launch a video-on-demand television-based advertising browser in the U.S. in the spring of 2006. A pay-per-click model is being considered by the company to track transactions. TiVo claimed that it chose advertising agencies such as Interpublic Group of Cos. as partners because of their status in the video-on-demand market. TiVo has created an interactive advertising for General Motors Corp. in June 2005.
