The article reports that an increase in display suppliers was influenced by in-store merchandising growth in the U.S. The point-of-purchase area has expanded as well as in-store display fields. Manufacturers and agencies tried to establish their own display supply firms. The request of proposals from suppliers were the components of the merchandising system.
