This article reports that U.S. midwestern advertising agencies are in the hunt for the Florists' Transworld Delivery (FTD) account. Known as a demanding client, FTD parted ways with Doner, its fourth agency in seven years. A spokeswoman for the flower marketer confirmed FTD is seeking a new ad agency. But she would not identify the six to seven shops she said are being considered. She also declined comment on the break of FTD with Doner, its agency for two years, other than to say FTD wants to take its advertising in a new direction. The competitors are believed to include Ammirati Puris Lintas, Leo Burnett USA, Bozell Worldwide, Cramer-Krasselt, DDB Worldwide and Y&R Advertising.
