ABSTRACT
The article presents suggestions about investing in the stocks of Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. Lehman Brothers Holdings is a major investment bank. The company specializes in debt and equity underwriting, trading, advisory services, and merchant banking. Lehman Brothers has been one of the more consistent performers on Wall Street. Fueling the impressive stock price performance has been stellar earnings growth. Per-share profits more than doubled from 2002 through 2004. Per-share profits for fiscal 2005 should be up at least 35%. Lehman usually boosts its dividend in the first quarter of the year, so investors should expect an increase of at least 15% to 20% early next year.
