ABSTRACT
This article focuses on the expected resignation of marketing executive Vada Hill from Mexican fast-food chain Taco Bell to take a position at the Fannie Mae Foundation, a non-profit home ownership group in 1999. Hill was best known for his advertising efforts at Taco Bell, supervising the advertising campaign involving a Spanish-speaking dog craving for Taco Bell. The campaign fueled consistent sales increases, which put an end to the financial problems faced by the chain during the early 1990s.
