This article focuses on the decision of Roche Bros. Supermarkets to leverage the nonfoods department in an effort to grab back market share from Wal-Mart and other big supermarkets, as of November 15, 2005. Grabbing back market share was the objective Roche Bros. had in mind when it approached Auburn, Massachusetts-based nonfoods supermarket wholesaler Imperial Distributors.
