ABSTRACT
This article provides information on the Turkey Point and Montrose Point state forests along the Hudson River in New York. Turkey Point is a bluff which serves as a navigation landmark with an automated green navigation light to guide ships along the river channel. The topography of Montrose Point can be attributed to its former use as a brickyard. INSET: IF YOU GO.
