ABSTRACT
The article reports on the widened third quarter loss of Bon-Ton Stores Inc. The widening loss is due to falling same-store sales, falling margins and a charge stemming from the earlier sale of its credit card business. However, home and fashion accessories were the strong performers of the quarter.
