ABSTRACT
The article presents information on Subaru's Australian car racing driver Chris Atkinson. The Gold Coast driver led the rally after stage one, lost it to team mate Fetter Solberg on the second, then retook the lead with a stunning drive to win the 50km third stage--the longest in the entire world rally championship. Subaru kept tweaking the car until he got the front end he sought and Atkinson's pace picked up on Sunday. Atkinson finally fulfilled the promise he's been showing, at least in the early rounds, on most rallies this year.
