The article presents the result of a test conducted to fund out how much time a set of tyres can make. Testers used the car a standard BMW M3. At the track, each tyre was given three laps to heat cycle, then cooled and taken out for no more than five laps for a fastest time. They also reset hot tyre pressures to 36-37psi. The 18-inch Michelin PS2s improved the balance dramatically. They cured the M3's tendency to push on turn-in but retained its tail-happy nature on corner exit. They respond well to pressure variation
