The article presents information on Mitsubishi Motors Corp.'s upgraded Lancer VRX. For sure, it gets a lot more power, and it feels like it gets a lot more power and torque across the board, too, but what it really gets is a quantum leap into a more sophisticated, adult and almost prestigious world. The 4G60, also fitted to Grandis and Outlander, pumps out 115kW at 5750rpm and 220Nm at 3500rpm--right where the variable inlet timing takes over to help it breathe at the top end. Below 3500rpm the two inlet cams each have a different lift; above 3500 they get the same, higher lift.
