This article reports that U.S. logistics company ProLogis is the favorite among the bidders for a 30-acre site at Littlebrook Power Station in Dartford, England. RWE subsidiary npower is marketing a total of around 80 acres of disused space at the Kent site. ProLogis is likely to pay around £20 million for the first 20-acre phase, which could house up to 500,000 square feet of distribution space. The site borders ProLogis's 264-acre The Bridge, which received consent for 1.5 million square feet of commercial space in August 2005. There are also plans for a 670,000 square feet Sainsbury's distribution hub, a 330,000 square feet science park and a 30,000 square feet innovation center at The Bridge.
