ABSTRACT
The article reports on request for proposals (RFP) initiated by the Indiana State Teachers' Retirement Fund for investment consulting services in 2005. According to Robert Newland, plan chief information officer, the contract for the Callan Associates was due to expire. A consultant will be selected in January or February 2005. The deadline for RFP submissions is on December 23, 2005. Moreover, once the consultant search is completed, the board would likely initiate a review of the asset allocation of the plan, according to Newland.
