ABSTRACT
The article reports that the U.S. National Aeronautics and Space Administration's (NASA) new Commercial Cargo/Crew Projects Office will seek proposals from industry by about late January toward demonstration of a range of International Space Station (ISS) servicing capabilities. The launch of ISS external and unpressurized cargo, plus the ability to dispose of such hardware. To carry out the presidentially mandated return-to-the-Moon plan, NASA would have to design its new heavy-lift booster to carry such lunar fuel into orbit, if commercial operators fail to provide such a system.
