ABSTRACT
The article presents an interview with Richard Dyer, a former members and board member of the International Association of Fire Chiefs in the United States. Dyer has received the 2005 Career Fire Chief of the Year Award. His passion is constant and continual improvement in the fire service. He has also emphasized the importance of interoperable communications systems in fire prevention.
