Six chapters receive $500 grants to fund conferences

The article announces the awards given to six chapters of the American Marketing Association. The grant of $500 cash awards were given to Southern Alberta, Canadian Region; North Carolina, southeastern region; San Diego, western region; Washington D.C., northeast region; and Central Indiana and Cleveland-Akron/Canton, Midwestern region. Southern Alberta, Canadian Region used its grant to help sponsor a one-day conference on tourism. North Carolina sponsored a conference with the theme "Making the Change from Sales to Marketing." The March session of San Diego Chapter designed to help improve marketing skills in research, planning, public relations, promotion, media buying, and graphic marketing.
