Professor, ad agency exec named 1st marketer of year

This article reports that the American Marketing Association's (AMA) Collegiate Chapter at Stonehill College, North Easton, Massachusetts named Lawrence M. Gulko as its first Marketer of the Year. He has been recognized for his high achievements as a marketing professor, practitioner and 1980-81 president of the Association. He has taught in both the graduate and undergraduate students of its College of Management Education in Wellesley, Massachusetts since 1978. In his presidentship the AMA's Boston Chapter grew from about 500 to more than 830 members and became the fourth largest AMA professional chapter.
