ABSTRACT
The article discusses highlights of the services and benefits offered by the National Science Teachers Association (NSTA) to its members in the United States in 2001-2002. First is the launch of the NSTA Institute, the professional development resource that offers both onsite and online courses and programs. Second is the delivery of high-quality resources in variety of easy-to-use formats. Third is launch of the Building a Presence for Science, a program that connects teachers to other colleagues, to relevant resources, and to professional development opportunities. Fourth is the association's grassroots advocacy program that serves as members' voice on Capitol Hill.
