The article discusses how small businesses in the dental industry can compete with big corporations. A small business owner has to adapt his or her thinking to the changing business environment. It is essential for a private business owner to develop a strategy for the business. The owner can initiate the strategic process by establishing an advisory board. Small business owners may also seek counsel from colleagues in the industry and may seek the assistance of professionals who specialize in the development of strategies.
