ABSTRACT
The article reports on liquefied natural gas expansions to meet the high demand of U.S. Unfortunately, there are only 4 operating regasification plants making them insufficient to cater to LNG imports. Steven Greenwald, head of global project finance at CSFB, states that although a few expansion projects are on progress, community resistance and lack of support hinders such plans.
