The article presents information about some new products that are very useful for children with learning disabilities. "Mix and Spell" is a new classroom game to develop spelling skill. It is recommended for grade levels 1 through 4. Students wear large, multi-colored bibs with printed alphabetical letters and group themselves into teams. Each player has two letters, one printed on the front, and one on the back of the bib. The Road to the Land of "S" is a booklet of picture stories and games created to motivate children and sustain their interest in mastering the troublesome "s" sound. The booklet begins with ear-training exercises for both discrimination and identification of the sound. These are followed by picture stories and games stressing the "s" and "z" differences. Story material is meaningful and appealing to children from first to fourth grades. The stories also emphasize the contrast between common substitutions such as "sh" and "th" for "s". It also presents information about a auditory training tape that provides a material for teaching sound discrimination.
