Eating Plenty of Produce Could Halve Pancreatic Cancer Risk

The article provides information on a study by researchers from the University of California in San Francisco, on the association between diet and pancreatic cancer conducted in 2005. With the results of the study, researchers suggest that eating lots of vegetables may reduce the risk of pancreatic cancer by half. Vegetables that are most strongly associated with increased protection include yellow vegetables and dark leafy vegetables. The study was published in a 2005 issue of Cancer, Epidemiology, Biomarkers and Prevention.
