ABSTRACT
The article features several antennas for portable electronic devices. Pulse's omnidirectional antennas for OEMs of wireless devices, are W1000 antennas designed for compatibility with IEEE 802.1 la/b/g/n, Bluetooth, and ZigBee applications as well as with other devices utilizing the industrial, scientific, and medical (ISM) frequency bands. Among those others featured in the article are: Antenova's Pentaband Radionova radio antenna modules covering the GSM 800, 900, 1800, and 1900 bands as the WCDMA 2100 UMTS (3G) bands; MTI Wireless Edge's Compact flat-panel antenna for RFID reader applications; and Peregrine Semiconductor's RoHS-compliant GPS, L-band antenna.
