ABSTRACT
The article reports that the Forensic Science Service invests in technologies to help search for DNA at a crime scene. Researchers at King's College London and the University of East Anglia develops a solution that picks any trace of DNA in fluorescent colors. Called Light It Up, it contains nano-particles each coated with biological molecules that bond with only one type of body fluid. These molecules contain a fluorescent 'tag' that makes them glow when they are illuminated by forensic light.
