This article features Instant Video Everywhere (IVE) service from Sony Corp. and Glowpoint Inc. The basic IVE service will let consumers make free and unlimited voice and video calls to other IVE members. According to the two companies, their software lets people make video calls as easily as they make telephone calls. However, its success depends much on the IVE viral marketing plan. And getting friends and family to sign on for the technology depends on how easy the product is to install and use.
