This article focuses on the use of robotic prescription dispensers by grocery chains Schnucks Markets Inc. and Brookshire Bros. to improve the services provided to their pharmacy customers in the U.S. Brookshire installed Parata's RDS unit at its Livingston store to handle its volume of 150 to 160 prescriptions per hour. Schnuck installed ScriptPro's SP 200 robotic dispenser in three locations that each filled from 300 to 340 prescriptions per day.
