Daymon Worldwide and Li & Fung form PL partnership

This article reports on a strategic alliance formed by Daymon Worldwide Inc., a private label food sales and marketing organization, and Li & Fung Ltd., a global buying agency for nonfood consumer goods, to supply private label and licensed branded goods for mass market retailers worldwide. According to Daymon chairman Milt Sender, there is a great demand among Daymon's customers for unique private label general merchandise. Li & Fung sources a wide range of products, and the company plans to help Daymon's customers source better merchandise in categories such as household items, furnishings, basic garments as well as seasonal and festive items.
